WORKSHOP
Understanding Play:
Through the Lens of PACE
This workshop empowers carers and professionals to understand a child’s unique perspective on play as a means of expressing their internal world. Centered on attachment-led play, it incorporates the principles of playfulness, acceptance, curiosity, and empathy (PACE) to support a child’s emotional and developmental needs. This workshop fosters an exploratory practice to reveal the diverse elements and dynamics of play, offering a deeper appreciation of its vital role in a child’s growth and connection including different forms of play that can be seen and how to begin developing your own play toolbox.
This workshop is 4 hours long and has a maximum capacity of 10 participants.
*If you are booking for children’s residential families, it is suggested that bookings are by individual homes so then the workshop can focus on the children living within your home and the adults supporting them.
Aims:

Introducing and exploring various forms of play that best meets the need of the child.
